At Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, “sustainability”
is not merely a trend but a cornerstone of our mission. As we strive to contribute to Thailand’s national goals of “Security, Prosperity, and Sustainability”, our university is committed to integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into
our core strategies.
Our focus extends beyond academics to encompass the broader well-being of our communities, society, and nation. We are dedicated to promoting sustainability awareness among our personnel and students, encouraging and implementing environmentally friendly practices, operating our campus sustainably, and integrating sustainability principles into our teaching and daily operations.
While we navigate challenges such as the pandemic, climate change, and social, economic, environmental, and structural disparities, our vision is to achieve sustainable internationalization and create lasting value. By participating in the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking, we are demonstrating our commitment to environmental stewardship and setting a standard for sustainable higher education in Thailand.
